Kochi: Adding weight to the conspiracy angle in the actress attack case, it has been revealed that the men who harassed her were part of a quotation gang, who even threatened to inject her with drugs.

In her statement to the police, the young actress reportedly said the culprits claimed that they were part of a quotation gang. MLA P.T. Thomas has confirmed the report to Manorama News. Quotation gang are miscreants hired to carry out criminal activities.

The actress was harassed for two hours by the gang members who forced their way into her car before fleeing in a busy city area here on the night of February 17.

When the actress objected to their advances, the culprits threatened to take her to a flat in Thammanam and inject her with drugs.

Police are probing if people from the film fraternity have any links to the case.

Meanwhile, the MLA has rejected allegations that film producer Anto Joseph had any links to the case. Anto called the main suspect, Pulsar Suni, in the presence of police, the MLA told Manorama News.
