A lone gunman killed 49 people and wounded more than 20 during Friday prayers at two mosques in Christchurch in the country's worst mass shooting.
Shrinivas, a Mumbai-based software engineer, who works as a video analyst with the Bangladesh team said that initially they didn't even realise that it was a terror attack.
The team were on a bus that was pulling up to the Al Noor mosque near Hagley Oval for Friday prayers when the shooting began, but none of the players were inside and all were safe, the New Zealand and Bangladesh Cricket Boards said.
