Vigilance sleuths recovered more than Rs 35 lakh in cash, documents of fixed deposits at banks amounting to around Rs 45 lakh, Rs 25 lakh from his salary account apart from 17 kg coins from Kumar
The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested Suresh Kumar, hailing from Malayinkil in Thiruvananthapuram, following a trap operation.
This is the largest sum recovered from a revenue officer in Kerala so far, Vigilance claims
Zulfiqar (48), a native of Kappur, died in Karachi jail, police sources said.
