General Education Minister V Sivankutty said the timing of the examinations will remain the same.
The final guidelines, which were prepared jointly by the Health and the General Education Department, would be released by Education Minister V Sivankutty on Tuesday.
The main complaint of students and parents is that the students having full A-Plus are not getting admission to schools and courses of their choice.
While classes for the final year/final semester students would start on October 4, the rest of the classes begin from October 18.
The Kerala Government has set November 1 as the date for the reopening. The classes for students of Standard 1 to Standard 7, Standard 10 and Standard 12 are being planned to resume first.
The meeting also directed chief superintendents to provide PPE kits for COVID-positive students and invigilators. They would be required to write the exam in separate halls.
Classes from 1 to 7 will be held on three days on shift basis.

If the apex court rules in favour of the state, an expert committee will be appointed to examine the practicality of reopening schools.
