The happy couple took to Instagram, holding their little ones, while wishing everyone a happy Diwali.
It was yesteryear actor Jithendra’s son actor Thushar Kapoor who became Bollywood’s first single father via surrogacy.
Even though Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan had given an explanation to a committee appointed by the Tamil Nadu Government’s Directorate of Medical Services to examine the matter, further investigations will take place.
Recently, the couple had also shocked the world when they informed the Tamil Nadu health government that they had tied the knot six years ago.
The development comes in wake of a probe launched by Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian to see if the star couple had violated surrogacy laws.
It has been decided to collect more details from the hospital authorities immediately and if needed, clarifications would also be sought from the couple.
While the couple has not specified how they became parents to twin boys, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian announced that the Directorate of Medical Services would look into whether the actor-director duo has broken any law.
Vignesh announced the couple had twin boys, on October 9, through his social media page.
While many have congratulated the couple, some expressed shock that they had their twins just four months into their marriage.
