GEMS School Kochi students clear NASA Mars Mission Challenge

Bringing glory to Kerala, students from GEMS Modern Academy, Kochi have successfully completed the NASA Mars Mission-2020 students' challenge conducted by the US space agency’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). In fact, GEMS is the only Indian school to feature in the NASA-JPL website’s list of participating educational institutions.

As part of the project, the students of GEMS school acquired more knowledge about Mars and explored the chances of sustaining life on that planet. “Thanks to the project, our students gained deep insights on the future and it also sharpened their skills in research and analysis. Moreover, they became more creative and curious,” said the Principal of GEMS Modern Academy Hillary Hinchliff.
