Ajay Devgn visits Sabarimala temple

Actor Ajay Devgn visited the Sabarimala shrine on Wednesday. After reaching Nilakkal from Kochi in a helicopter by 9 am, the actor climbed the Pathinettam Padi (the 18 holy steps) at 11 am.

The actor-director sought the blessings of tanthri and melsanthi (chief priest) of the temple and offered prayers at Malikappuram and other deities near the temple before making the return journey. It was Devgn's fourth visit to the shrine.

Rajamouli directorial 'RRR' and Sanjay Leela Bansali's 'Gangubhai Kathiawadi' are Ajay Devgn's upcoming movie releases. However, the release of both the movies has been postponed in the backdrop of surging Covid cases.

Devgn is also directing a movie titled Runway 34 with Amitabh Bhachchan in the lead. It is the third movie that the Bollywood star is directing.
