Asin Thottumkal and Rahul Sharma

Mumbai: While actress Asin Thottumkal and Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma's marriage date still remains a mystery, actor Akshay Kumar has shared a glimpse of their wedding card after getting the first invite for the auspicious ceremony of his “close friends”.

The actor, who is said to have introduced Asin and Rahul, took to Twitter to express his feelings on getting the card.

"Happy to receive the first wedding card of two of my close friends, Rahul and Asin. Wishing you both happiness always,” Akshay posted.

Bollywood's “Khiladi” Kumar also shared an image of the card, which looks chic and classy with subtle colour palette minus the bling.

With a blend of brown and golden yellow hues, the card flaunts linear patterns organised in the shape of shrub and flowers.

Akshay, who has worked with Asin in films like “Khiladi 786” and “Housefull 2”, will have an important role in the marriage as well.

Akshay has reportedly been picked as the best man for the nuptials.

There are several reports suggesting the couple will be getting hitched on January 23 in the presence of family and close friends. It will be followed by a reception.
