Pa.Ranjith is an expert; he injects a heavy dose of adrenaline into your systems with a deafening police siren, which is essential to watch 'Superstar' Rajinikanth as Kabali in the teaser. When he is sure that you are ready to take it, enters the don of dons - Kabaali daaaa!

As the sliding door of a maximum security prison moves away, against the backdrop of a marching group of criminals wearing blue prison uniform, walks in Kabali aka 'Superstar' Rajinikanth in a grey tuxedo with calculated steps—in display is a text book stuff for job aspirants "how to walk in for an interview, oozing confidence".

Kabali walks in from the right of a garden and he is on to something, shows the casually swaying shoulder and head - a calmness before the s#it hits the roof.

Radhika Apte

In a shot that seemed unnecessary, someone from a gathering questions if Kabali thinks he is a gangster, Rajinikanth breaks into his trademark laugh. If not for that lull of distractions created by the question, Kabali's laugh would have pounced our hearts out of its place. And there would have been no stopping for the cine-fans who would go crazy seeing their beloved actor in his full glory, just like in the crowd frenzy shot before the entry of Radhika Apte.

Gracefully walking behind a window, Radhika showcases a soft side of Kabali that he has shut discreet from others.

Then it's a mayhem—heads against glasses, bodies against chairs and peace escaping to the skies as a shot is fired—and you might end up asking the same question as Kishore Kumar "Who's this Kabali?" (with a reverence though).

And Kabali himself has the answer to that - "Magizhchi!" (a celebration, happiness)

Kabali

Before you are lead into a hypnotic trance by Santhosh Narayanan's music that has an Arabic tint to it, you will see a larger-than-life Kabali taking down a villain before kicking him out and it's fun to see how much Rajinikanth enjoyed this role.

The wait is not over, it has just begun; Pa. Ranjith has really teased us with this Kabali teaser.
