Jisha murder case

Aluva: Even as the police is yet to reach a conclusion regarding the perpetrator of the murder of Jisha, a dalit law student from Perumbavoor, the investigation team is now pinning hopes on CCTV visuals.

The police collected visuals of the accused when he entered a restaurant to have tea after committing the crime. The police team also decided to conduct the DNA test once again by seeking permission of the court to complete the procedures.

Meanwhile, Kerala police chief Loknath Behera came down heavily on the media for its interventions in connection with Jisha murder case.

He wrote to the Press Council of India stating that the attempts to distort news is adversely affecting the probe. The letter also criticised the use of photos of the accused in the media.
