Trawling ban to be imposed in Kerala from June 10

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala government will impose a trawling ban for 52 days this year. The ban will last from June 10 to July 31.

The decision was taken in a meeting held by Minister for Fisheries Saji Cheriyan with the representatives of fisherfolk's association and officers from various departments.

The trawling ban is imposed every year during the fish breeding season.
