Bengaluru: In a tragic accident, two Kannada actors reportedly drowned during a film shoot in Bengaluru on Monday.
Actors Uday and Anil have been missing after they jumped into Tippagondanahalli lake near Bengaluru from a helicopter hovering over the lake from a height of over 100 feet. Search operations are under way.
The crew of upcoming Kannada film Masti Gudi that has Duniya Vijay in the lead, was shooting the climax scene when the mishap took place.
The camera captured the trio jumping into the water, but only Vijay swam to the bank.
Local police said that no safety measures had been taken by the crew while shooting the risky action sequence. No motor boats were around to search the lake immediately after the mishap.
