Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan has laid the onus of preventing a stampede at the famed Ayyappa Temple at Sabarimala on the pilgrims.
Since Friday night, the hill temple has been witnessing a heavy rush of pilgrims, especially from neighbouring states.
Devaswom minister K Radhakrishnan has instructed the officials to take immediate action to control the rush.
Pinarayi Vijayan said photographs of tribespeople resting before makeshift huts were wrong construed as an exhibition.
The Minister spoke at a seminar on 'Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of Kerala: Issues of Socio economic Development'.

The notification from Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board comes within a month of the minister concerned saying he was discriminated against at a temple.
The Devaswom Minister also indicated that he was not going to pursue any legal action against the discrimination he faced.
K Radhakrishnan, who is a Dalit, said he was discriminated against over his caste at a temple function.
The state committee of the Akhila Kerala Thanthri Samajam said priests who are performing 'deva pujas' do not touch anyone, be it Brahmin or non-Brahmin, till the same is over.
