The KSRTC management has taken the stand that the second instalment will be paid when the government sanctions the funds.
The case was that Raju, while practicing as a lawyer in 1990, tampered with a material object in a drug peddling case in which a foreign national was the accused.
Transport Minister Antony Raju said that action would be taken against the officers for not meeting the target of each depot.

It is estimated that the cost of one CCTV camera is Rs 4,000. The Road Safety Authority will bear half the cost of installing cameras in all 7,686 buses plying in the state. KSRTC buses will be paid the full amount.
He further said stern action would be taken using the extensive powers of the Road Safety Commissioner against operators found in violation of the instruction past the deadline.
The proposal was discussed during a meeting convened by Transport Minister Antony Raju recently and would be presented before the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for his approval.
