Suriya was last seen in the film 'Retro' and is currently in Hyderabad for the shoot of his upcoming movie directed by Venky Atluri.
It may be recalled that director Venky Atluri's upcoming film with actor Suriya, officially got launched with a pooja ceremony.
Jyotika thanked Diya’s teachers, their longtime house help Divya, and staff member Devi, who regularly packed meals for Diya.
With Suriya and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, the film also features a strong supporting cast including Jayaram, Joju George, Prashanth, Sujith Shankar, and Amrin Abubakker.
Joining Mamitha in the cast are Raveena Tandon and Radhika Sarathkumar in key roles.
Tharun visited them along with his family and shared photos from the meeting, featuring Suriya, Jyothika, and Karthi.
Apart from Suriya and Pooja Hegde, ‘Retro’ features a host of stars including Malayalam actors Joju George and Jayaram and Tamil actor Karunakaran.
While Suriya looks dapper in his retro avatar and the film is segmented across different phases of Paarimel’s life, the story lacks emotional depth.
Suriya pointed out that if one started smoking, they wouldn't be able to get rid of the habit.
The director revealed that the film carries the visual grammar of a 'vintage gangster flick, but for Subbaraj, it’s all in service of something deeper.'
