Kochi: Actor Jayasurya, who is literally on cloud nine after his latest flick Aadu 2 received an overwhelming response from the audience, has purchased a Mercedes SUV to celebrate his success.
Jayasurya's Aadu 2, a Christmas release, became the second consecutive hit for the actor in 2017, the earlier one being Punyalan. And the actor decided to go for the luxury SUV Mercedes GLC 220.
As the 'Shaji Pappan' of Aadu 2 arrived at the showroom with his family to pick up the vehicle, some employees dressed up as the characters in the film to complete the picture. Jayasurya bought it from Rajasree Motors here.
The Merc describes GLC as an SUV equal to its C-C Class.
Apart from luxury, the car offers convenience, safe and comfort, off-roading capacity, and fuel efficiency.
The 220 D Matic has a four-cylinder 2143 CC inline machine. It has 168 BHP power and 400 NM torque in 1400 RPM. It soars from zero to 100 kmph within 8.3 seconds, and has a maximum speed of 210 km.
