PG medical courses: Applications accepted till Monday afternoon

Thiruvananthapuram: The last date for applying for admission to the post-graduate medical and diploma courses at government/private self-financing medical colleges as well as the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cancer Centre in Kerala has been extended to Monday, August 22.

The candidates can submit the applications and upload the required documents via the website of the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, www.cee.kerala.gov.in, until 10 am.

The initial deadline announced was August 20.

Meanwhile, the applicants in the service category should submit the printed copy of the application and the service documents to the respective department heads before 5 pm on 22 August.

The admissions are based on the rank list of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Postgraduate), 2022, conducted by the National Board of Examination. The selection is to the 435 seats in Kerala's state quota. This include 427 seats at the medical colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Alapuzha, Ernakulam, Trissur, Mancheri, Kozhikode and Kannur as well as 8 seats at the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cancer Centre.

The CEE will allot seats for students in private medical colleges as per the same rank list.
