'De Chef' to launch with break-free episode

While audience across Kerala are eagerly awaiting for Mazhavil Manorama's cookery show 'Dhe Chef', here is news that will surprise them.

The first episode of 'Dhe Chef' that launches the show will be aired on Friday and will witness a 60-minute advertisement-free episode. It will be the first time an episode of a reality show will be aired without any commercial breaks.

Actor Dileep, who has also mastered the nuances of delicious food, will be the special guest on the show.

The programme is hosted by actor Jewel Mary and RJ Mathukutty.

The show aims to test the culinary skills of the selected contestants to find the 'Dhe Chef of The Year'. The format of the show, set up in the back drop of kitchen and cooking with mega prize money on the table for the winner and runners up, will be an enchanting palate of culinary indulgence and fierce competition.

Branded as South India's biggest cooking reality show 'Dhe Chef' on Mazhavil Manorama will have 20 contestants from various demographic backgrounds. They will be competing against each other. A panel of three professional chefs will judge them.

Similar to the dance and signing reality properties cooking reality show 'Dhe Chef' will progress through thrilling moments creating lots of twists and turns while passing through rounds like Time Restriction, Pressure Test, Mystery, Outdoor Tasks and Puzzles.

'Dhe Chef' will add the tastemakers like Elimination Rounds, Safe Zones and Wild Card Entries during each of these rounds to keep the game hot and happening.
