Special mutton macaroni

Mutton macaroni is a complete meal which is spicy and delicious. The coriander and mint leaves add oodles of flavour to the dish. Try out this easy recipe of mutton macaroni.


4 tbsp coconut oil

1 onion (chopped)

1 tomato (chopped)

2 tbsp ginger-garlic (crushed)

4 green chillies (chopped)

Curry leaves as require

Chopped coriander leaves as required

Chopped mint leaves as required

1 tbsp chilli powder

1 ½ tsp turmeric powder

½ tsp garam masala

½ kg mutton (cut into small pieces)

Water, salt as required

1 tsp oil

300 gms macaroni


Heat coconut oil in a pan and add onions, tomato, ginger-garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, mint leaves, chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala.

Sauté the ingredients until the raw smell of the masala is gone

Into it add the mutton pieces and cook well

Cook the macaroni in boiling water mixed with salt. Drain the macaroni when it is almost cooked or when they are al dente.

Add the macaroni into the mutton mixture and mix.

Keep cooking and stir occasionally until the moisture in the dish is reduced and everything is mixed well.
