Culinary expert Dr Lakshmi Nair, in her latest vlog, shows how to prepare a cup of hot and refreshing home-made cappuccino. High-end cafes and coffee shops often charge a hefty amount for the beverage but you can easily make it at home.

In her vlog, Lakshmi prepares special cappuccino for her daughter, pretty easily, that too without using a hand blender.

Ingredients
1 cup boiled milk
1 tbsp instant coffee powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp hot water

Preparation
Into a coffee mug add the instant coffee powder, sugar, and ¾ table spoon hot water
Beat it well using a spoon for at least 2-3 minutes
When this turns creamy with a light in colour, add hot milk
Mix well until the cappuccino is frothy and has a creamy texture.
