London: Newly married Prince Harry, the royal heir and a media favourite, thwarted the attacks of a bumblebee at a garden party on Tueday while wife, Meghan Markle, was struggling to control her laughter.

Harry was delivering a speech at an event on the gardens of the Buckingham Palace while the bee interrupted him. Shooing it away with one hand, Harry continued his speech saying 'that bee really got me.'

Prince Harry and his new wife - the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - appeared at their first official engagement as a married couple when they attended the party. The garden party, which is being held six months before Prince Charles's actual 70th birthday in November, celebrated the heir to the throne, Charles's charity work, patronages and military affiliations.

In his speech, Prince Harry opened with a mark of remembrance of the Manchester Arena Bombing.

Prince Harry gave a heartfelt speech about his father's charitable work and association with military regiments and units, before getting interrupted by a bumblebee which flew close to him. Though Harry kept his cool, the mood had already changed as Prince Charles, wife Camilla, and Meghan had a giggle fest.
