Kochi: The main accused in the actress attack case, Pulsar Suni, has reportedly told the police that a memory card with photos of the young actress whom he kidnapped was deposited at Kavya Madhavan's online boutique Laksyah, Kakkanad.
However, it was not known as to who received the card at the outlet. On Friday, the probe team had conducted searches at Laksyah. It is now suspected that the police search was to find the memory card. However, the police were not able to retrieve it.
The police were not ruling out the probability of a concerted effort to derail the probe. The raid, conducted with utmost secrecy, started at 11 am Saturday and went on for three hours.
There was a mention of a 'shop in Kakkanad' in a letter purportedly written by Pulsar Suni to actor Dileep in a bid to 'blackmail him and extort money.' The letter mentioned that he visited the 'shop in Kakkanad' twice. Suni had given details about the shop to the police.
Suni had told the police that he visited the shop before going into hiding a day after the assault on the actress on February 17.
