People crowd around Aluva Police Club. File photoKochi: The Kerala police team probing the actress attack case on Wednesday arrested a lawyer in connection with the case.
Raju Joseph, a junior of lawyer Pratheesh Chacko, who had represented prime accused Pulsar Suni in the initial stages of the case, was arrested and bailed out.
He was arrested on the basis of Chacko's statement that he tampered with the mobile phone which was used to record the assault on the actress in a moving car in February.

Earlier, Joseph was taken into custody and questioned at the Aluva police club.
The police are yet to trace the mobile phone, which is considered a vital evidence in the case.
Earlier in the day, the police had recorded the statement of the relatives of actor Dileep and his former wife and actress Manju Warrier, including her brother Madhu Warrier.
Actor Dileep was arrested on July 10 for allegedly plotting the attack along with Suni. He is yet to be granted bail.
