M.S. Dhoni's daughter singing a Malayalam song? Not possible, you thought. Well, doubting Thomas can take a break.

Sources close to the family has confirmed to Malayala Manorama that it was Ziva, the little one of former Indian skipper, who sang Ambalapuzhai unnikannanodu nee in the most adorable manner possible and floored Keralites all over.

A video of the child's singing was posted on Instagram earlier this week and soon went viral. But how did the Ranchi girl learn Malayalam, often dubbed as the biggest tongue twister with its 'zha' and 'nga' that are missing from other Indian languages. Internet was divided and fought very passionately, saying it just can't be Dhoni's daughter.

Now, it has emerged that the child's nanny, happens to be a Malayali. However, sources closed to the family refused to reveal the details of the 'chechi', even while acknowledging that Dhoni and family were aware of the song going viral.

Inviting Ziva to Ambalappuzha temple

Meanwhile, back home in Kerala, a committee is all set to invite little Ziva to the famed Ambalappuzha temple, that features in the Malayalam song from 1992-film, Adwaytham.

The panel has decided to write to Dhoni, requesting him to bring the little one to the temple during the panthrandu kalabham ritual that begins on January 14 or during the annual temple festival in March.

We do hope Dhoni agrees to their request and brings along little Ziva to God's country soon.
