Thrissur: One person died and three others were injured in the wee hours of Thursday as a lorry rammed devotees who were walking to the famed Christian pilgrimage centre at Malayattoor in Ernakualm.
The deceased has been identified as Akshay, a resident of Pavaratty in Thrissur.
The injured have been admitted to a private hospital at Chalakudy. They are Gabriel, Shalin and Johnny. While Gabriel is a resident of of Chittatukara, the other two are from Erumapetti.
The accident happened on the National Highway at Kodakara in Thrissur around 3 am.
