Muscat: Malayalam actor Captain Raju was on Monday hospitalised here after he suffered a brain haemorrhage. Hospital sources later in the day said that his condition has improved.
The actor's son Ravi Raj said as doctors have advised him to take rest, he would continue to be in Muscat.
Raju had boarded the flight to US from Kochi by 4.20 am on Monday. His son and wife were with him when the actor fell ill and the flight made an emergency landing in Oman. He was shifted to the KIMS hospital in Oman around 9 am Monday after giving first aid.
The family was heading to the US for the wedding preparations of his son.
