Actor JaiChennai: Noted Tamil actor Jai was arrested on Thursday night for drunk driving after his car rammed against a barrier on a flyover here. The police arrived at the spot immediately and made the arrest on finding the actor in inebriated state.
Jai was returning home from a star hotel after a party there in connection with the promotion of his upcoming film.
The Audi, which he was riding was badly damaged in the accident but the actor escaped unhurt. The police have found that there existed a similar case against the actor in 2014 as well.
Reports say that the police have sought cancellation of Jai's license.
