The National Disaster Management Authority has taken a decision that there may not be any further need to invoke the provisions of the DM Act for COVID containment measures.
On Tuesday, six people from Sri Lanka were rescued by the Indian Coast Guard from a small island inside the Palk Strait off the coast of Rameswaram Island, also known as Pamban Island.
