A father and son, at whose house the missing persons were found, are among the six men accused in the case.
The cops allegedly attempted the abduction to make up for losses incurred from a business.
In a video clip that had come out of Shafi on April 14, he claimed that his younger brother Naufal was behind the abduction.
Meanwhile, police said that they have no reasons to doubt Naufal, at the moment.

The arrested were identified as N S Ananthu (19) of Nettamplackal House, Kanam, Vazhoor, and Praveen Kumar (19) of Satheesh Bhavan, Pallikkunnu, Peerumed.
