This year, the admission process has changed in the universities as they have adopted Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions to UG courses. While the Delhi University earlier admitted students based on 12th class marks, Jamia Millia Islamia and Jawaharlal Nehru University used to have separate entrance tests for admissions to UG courses.
Delhi University on Monday commenced the second phase of the admission process for undergraduate programs that will allow candidates to choose their program and college combination preferences.
Online applications are invited for the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) and Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) for admission to post-graduate and undergraduate design programmes conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Allotments as per the quotas for community registered trusts are on in self-financing engineering and architecture colleges in Kerala. These allotments as per the contract between the government and the self-financing institutions.
Applicants who got allotment should reach the schools between 10 am on 26 September and 5 pm on 27 September to secure the admission.
According to statistics available with the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), 93 top candidates had chosen IIT Bombay as their first preference, and 69 of them made the cut in the first round of seat allocation for the IITs.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the first-round allotment for admission to BTech, BE, BArch, B Planning, 5 year MTech/ MSc and 4 year MS programs at 114 premier institutes in the country.
The admission process for the under-graduate as well as the post-graduate courses in the Delhi University would be starting from October.
Those who submitted online applications for admission to MTech courses can check their profile, gate score/ marks and grade and rectify any mistakes and do option registration/ deletion and re – arrangement.
Candidates who have submitted a copy of the expired or soon-to-be expired visa along with the application should upload the acknowledgement copy via the candidate portal on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner of the Entrance Examinations before 3 pm on 24 September.
