The explosion occured on Tuesday evening, killing one and injuring six people.
The actor said he used to frequent the place and was friends with those who ran the firecracker unit.
One person was charred to death while 4 others were seriously injured in a massive explosion at the unit that functioned in a densely populated area.
The identity of the deceased is unknown. The impact of the explosion was felt more than a kilometre away.
According to local residents, tremors of the explosion were felt kilometres away.
The explosion took place in the house where firecrackers were kept in large quantities.
No relaxation can be given and the Supreme Court order of maintaining a distance of 100m must be followed, Kerala Controller of Explosives Dr P K Rana explained.
Delhi Fire Service (DFS) Director Atul Garg said that his department is fully prepared ahead of the festival with a heavy deployment of fire personnel.
No license has been issued to any ordinary or gunpowder firecracker seller, according to Delhi Police.
