A video of the women being paraded naked, which surfaced in July, led to widespread condemnation across the country and globally, prompting the Supreme Court to step in and hand over the case to the CBI.
The victim told the police that she was abducted and raped by four persons, three of whom she knew.
Senior officers are scrutinising the video and matching those who feature in it with the people arrested.

A native of Perambra, the differently-abled woman was taken to Malappuram and Kozhikode districts and abused sexually, as per her complaint.
The top court said it will consider listing the matter for hearing.
