Two accused were taken into custody on Friday.
A woman has complained that she was raped by three persons at the house of a relative.
The court held that the prosecution failed to prove the allegations in the absence of corroborating evidence.
In the meantime, she slipped into spells of emptiness and silence. Her kid was shifted to a child welfare centre.
The convict was allegedly allowed to escape en route to Sulthan Bathery for trial in a gang rape case.
The quantum of the punishment will be pronounced on Tuesday.
Bilkis Bano was 21 years old and five months pregnant when she was gang-raped while trying to escape the horror of the communal riots in February 2002.
According to police, the woman who is custody lured the girl and took her to the other accused on January 1.
The fourth accused received a jail term of 30 years. It was in 2021 that the Dalit minor was gang-raped by four youths from the Janakikkad ecotourism forest area.
The journalist, who was jailed for over two years while attempting to report a gangrape and murder case in Uttar Pradesh, spoke in Kannur on Saturday.
