T he integrated admission process to Higher Secondary Course (HSC) General Stream and Vocational Stream for Plus-One classes has begun in Kerala. The classes are likely to begin on 17 August after completing the first stage of admission.
The batches and the seats will be allowed in each district in the same order, as last year. But, this time, it has been done in advance as the higher secondary authorities are keen to avoid seat shortage and delayed admission as had happened last year.
Students could submit online applications from 7 June onwards
As per the Principal Secretary's order the certificates issued by the Kerala Aquatic Association and the Swimming Federation of India should be submitted online to the secretary of the State Sports Council
Last year, the admission to the higher secondary classes were done in two stages. This time, the admission process may be completed in three stages, said Minister of General Education V Sivankutty in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday.

Abhinash had scored A-plus grades for all the subjects in Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination too. He is preparing to attend the National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test for under-graduate medical admission.
Last year, 64,308 students had scored A-Plus grade for Chemistry. However, this dropped to just 30,615 this year.
As per the latest data, there should be at least 60,650 additional Plus-One seats in the state to accommodate all the students who have passed SSLC exams this year.
