'Qualified candidates who have passed class XII examinations will now be eligible for admissions irrespective of marks obtained,' the minister said in a series of tweets.
The three-day, round-the-clock virtual Bangalore Education Online Expo will be held from October 16 to 18.
The order is applicable to public educational institutions, schools following Central Board of Secondary Education and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education.
The centrally sponsored project will cover six states - Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Odisha.
As per the Centre's Unlock 5.0 guidelines, all schools, other than those in containment zones, can resume functioning from October 15.
Those who lost their favourite subject by a narrow margin on the basis of their marks in the first phase of allotment will not get a chance in the supplementary allotment.
Though the Centre had said that schools can be reopened on October 15, most states are not in favour of this.
The worksheets have been prepared such that these appeal to the children.
The revised deadline for the submission of exam form by left out candidates is December 9.
The many avenues for children to show their skills and talent are no longer possible as schools don't conduct arts festival (kalotsavam), science fairs, sports meets and the like.
