Advocate Vaidyanathan appeared online in the High Court on January 24 and has sent a letter to the KSIDC demanding Rs 25 lakh as a fee for one sitting.

The Income-Tax Department had argued that the probe should extend to the alleged payments made to politicians under the Companies Act and Anti-Corruption Act.
The Registrar of Companies report has recommended investigations into the dealings between the two firms by ED and CBI.
The ROC report stated that both firms had committed offences that would invite jail terms and penalties under the Companies Act.
