ED officer P Radhakrishnan’s transfer to Kashmir stayed by CAT. Tribunal questions deviation from standard service norms.
Deputy Director P Radhakrishnan, previously in charge of Unit One at the Kochi office, has been transferred to the ED’s Srinagar zonal office.
The State government informed the Court of its plan to oppose the bail plea with a detailed response.
The VACB had earlier arrested the remaining three accused – Wilson, Mukesh Kumar and Renjith Warrier – in the connection with the bribery allegations.
The HC issued the order after the Public Prosecutor requested time and assured the court that no arrest would be made before the hearing.
The court noted that the police violated Article 22(1) of the Constitution by not properly informing the accused of the grounds for their arrest.
The money laundering case against Babu is based on five FIRs registered by the Crime Branch and Kottarakara Police against him and his parents.
