An astounding 99.97 per cent of the candidates who took the Class-Ten Indian Certificate of Secondary Education examination, 2022, have qualified for higher studies. Out of the total 2,31,063 students who sat for the exam nationwide just 59 failed.
S J Athira, a student of St Thomas Residential School at Mukkala in Thiruvananthapuram district, bagged the all–India second rank by scoring 498 marks (99.6%) out of 500. She, meanwhile, came first in Kerala.
The results of the ICSE (Class 10), 2022 examination were declared at 5 pm.
If the CBSE and ICSE 10th board results aren’t announced by July 18, the students won't be able to apply for Plus one admission in Kerala.
The evaluation process is underway and it is expected that the results will be announced by July 15, they said.
The safety of students, health, the facilities that are to be arranged for the students who require special care, the affiliation of the schools and anti–drug drives were some of the issues that were discussed at the meeting.
Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) informed that the second term exams of ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) would begin on the last week of April.
Students and teachers say that the class 12 Physics and Computer Science exams and class 10 Geography and Physics exams were extremely hard.
Class 12 ISC exams begin on November 22 and ends on December.20
