The Pathanapuram MLA join the ministry along with Kadannappalli Ramachandran
Setting a precedent, Devarkovil and Raju quit the cabinet based on an agreement arrived at after a meeting of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) when it won the elections in 2021, the details of which were entered in the minutes.
He spoke with the media following the LDF meeting, during which he and Kadannappalli Ramachandran were selected as replacements for Ahamed Devarkovil and Antony Raju.
According to EP Jayarajan, the Chief Minister will determine the portfolios of the new ministers.
The LDF will hold a meeting on the Christmas eve to decide on the date of the swearing-in ceremony as well as on their respective portfolios.
If the allegations against the petitioner are false, MLA Ganesh Kumar's honest intentions will be proved, the court added.
She also alleged that Ganesh Kumar’s father, R Balakrishna Pillai, and some Congress leaders had pressured her to alter her statement.
He has been asked to appear before the court on October 18.
Natesan also criticized Ganesh Kumar's appointment as a minister, calling it a degradation of democracy.
