Narain Karthikeyan, India's first F1 driver, inaugurated the Malayala Manorama Auto World Expo 2018, which will go on for three days.
Among those attending the logo release were Malayala Manorama Editor Philip Mathew, Malayala Manorama Marketing and Advertising Sales Vice-President Varghese Chandy, Malayala Manorama Marketing Services and Solutions Vice-President Joy Mathew, SBI Regional Manager K Manoharan, SBI DGM G Gopu, Marina One Marketing chief Harish K Thampi, Malayala Manorama Kochi Marketing General Manager B Balagopal, Indian Oil CGM and Sales Head P S Mani, JK Tyres Sales Manager Shaktidharan, JK Tyres Kerala Sales Head Kurien Thomas and Malayala Manorama Marketing Executive Divya Prashant.
High-end luxury car makers Mercedez, BMW, Porsche, Mini Cooper will present their models at the show. In the mid segment will be featured Maruti Susuki, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Skoda, Tata, Mahindra, Renault, Nissan, Isuzu etc.
Another attraction will be super cars and vintage ones which still retain the grandeur of the old.
Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Indian Motorrad, RE, Honda etc will bring the luxury and glitter of roaring two-wheelers. Adding to the brilliance will be bus makers like Scania and Bharat Benz.
The expo will also be a venue for the preview of Toyota Yaris and Toyota Lexus models. Bike Stunt show and Go Karting will add to fun at the festival.
There will also be lectures on rules of the road, first aid at accidents etc.
The Expo is open from 11am to 8pm.
