Kollam: State owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the withdrawal of unlimited Sunday free voice calling with its landline plans. This new change will be effective from February 1, 2018.
The plan launched on 15 Aug 2016 offered customers to make free calls every Sunday from its landline phone in addition to existing free night calling scheme. The offer was made available with the aim of increasing their landline customers.
Though BSNL is withdrawing the Sunday free calls offer, the free night calling scheme between 10.30 pm to 6 am on regular days will stay.
Himachal Pradesh had withdrawn the 24-hour Sunday free calls effectively from January 1.
