Dileep appears as an MLA in the film. The behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming Dileep-starrer Ramaleela has been released online.
The film, produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam after the blockbuster Pulimurugan, is being directed by debutante Arun Gopi.
The film witnesses the return of Dileep as a strong political character after the 2006 political drama Lion. Perhaps for the same reason, the behind-the-scenes video has gone viral on the Internet.
Prayaga Martin plays the female lead opposite Dileep. Meanwhile, Tamil actress Radhika Sharatkumar dons the role of Dileep’s mother in the film. Radhika is appearing in a Malayalam film after a gap of 24 years.
Dileep appears as an MLA in Ramaleela, which has Renji Panicker, Salim Kumar, Mukesh, Vijayaraghavan, Kalabhavan Shajon, among others, in prominent roles. The movie is scripted by Sachy. Rafeeq Ahmed has penned the lyrics and the music is done by Gopi Sunder.
