The Kerala High Court on Thursday stated that police protection cannot be given to Dileep’s upcoming movie Ramaleela, which will hit theatres on September 28.

Earlier, the producer of the movie, Tomichan Mulakuppadam, had filed a petition in the court seeking police protection on the release day of the film. Mulakuppadam had stated that owing to a public attack threat, many theatre owners were not initially ready to exhibit the movie. He had mentioned that the movie was scheduled to release on July 21 and it got delayed following the arrest of Dileep on July 10, in connection with actress attack case.
