He is still known as KT Mirash, the spectacled geek from Aashiq Abu's Salt N’ Pepper. Actor and screenwriter Ahmed Sidhiqui who essayed the much appreciated role of KT Mirash tied the knot with Rehana.
Ahmed made his debut into the filmdom by penning the screenplay for the segment Mrithyunjayam directed by Uday Ananthan in the anthology movie Kerala Café in 2009. He also wrote the screenplay for Ashiq Abu's Mammootty-starrer Gangster.
Though he is a noted screen writer, Ahmed is recognized by the Malayali audience by the character KT Mirash. He also essayed some impressive roles in movies like Thattathin Marayathu, Left Right Left, Praise The Lord and You Too Brutus.
