While auditioning new faces for his third movie, Telescope, M B Padmakumar had least expected these unlisted actors would make it his most favorite movie through their acting and dedication.
The director on Saturday took to Facebook to share his feelings and thank the gang, which included an NRI lawyer, schoolchild, an insurer, a doctoral student, a journalist, and a struggling actor.
Sharing a picture from a location photocall, Padmakumar wrote: "These are the talents (I) spotted through Facebook auditions".
The director-actor, who could easily identify with the struggles of aspiring actors, wrote how Telescope spurred the confidence of these actors.
An impressed Padmakumar also thanked the entire cast naming each one. "It was not a mere act they put up, instead they transformed into the character. Thanks to Balu, Jose, Anirudh, Shamseena, Raj, and Sajesh; and to Balaji and KPAC Rajendran for supporting them." Among the cast, only Balaji and KPAC Rajendran were professional actors.
