Amala Paul will play Prithviraj’s Sainu in 'Aadujeevitham' Amala Paul said that Prithviraj has given two years of his life for this movie.

South Indian beauty Amala Paul is all set to play the female lead in director Blessy’s much awaited film adaptation of noted writer Bennyamin's novel Aadujeevitham starring Prithviraj in the lead.

It was Amala who confirmed the news through her official Instagram account in which she posted a picture of hers along with the movie’s director Blessy. She wrote that she was happy and honored to be a part of National Award winning director Blessy’s Aadujeevitham as Sainu.

“Aadujeevitham, this heartwarming novel arrested my heart so deeply, moved and inspired by Najeeb’s surrender to the will of Allah (God)… Through Najeeb’s eyes, I imagined Sainu like an angel and it will be my utmost joy to enact real Sainu on reel for viewers,” wrote an excited Amala. She added that the movie based on Benymin’s classic novel has an amazing screenplay and vows that the movie “is set to be a visual spectacle in 3D”.

Amala Paul said that Prithviraj has given two years of his life for this movie. It is reported that the Vimaanam actor would undergo some major physical makeover to make the role of Najeeb perfect.

Legendary composer AR Rahman will be making a comeback to Malayalam after twenty five years with Aadujeevitham. Oscar winner Resul Pookutty and ace cinematographer KU Mohanan will also be a part of Blessy’s dream project.

Aadujeevitham (Goat Days) is a poignant story of Najeeb who survives many hardships at an animal farm in a desert in the Gulf and his final escape to freedom.

The incredibly successful novel has won many awards for Benyamin including the Kerala Literary Academy Award.

Film maker Blessy who wowed the Malayali audience with movies like Kaazhcha, Thanmaatra and Pranayam has announced a few years ago that he would adapt the novel into a movie. There were reports that Tamil actor Vikram was also being considered for the role of Najeeb in Aadujeevitham.

However Blessy announced the project with Prithviraj in the lead. Aadujeevitham is bankrolled by KG Abraham, an NRI entrepreneur, for the banner of KGA Films. The movie will be shot in various locations around Kuwait, Dubai, Oman and Jordan.
