In a shocking revelation, Kollywood heart throb Arya, who is seeking his bride through a reality show aired on Colors channel, said that he had a relationship with a woman earlier and had married her.
The contestants as well as the actor’s countless fans were flabbergasted when Arya disclosed the top ‘secret’ of his life. “I had registered my marriage with a woman whom I had been dating for almost seven years. But we couldn’t complete the marriage registration procedure after one month as her family came to know about it and created problems. After much pressure from them, I had to withdraw from the marriage alliance,” revealed Arya.
The Raja Rani actor said that the breakup had pained him deeply and during those times he seldom cared about his career or whether his movies did well at the box office or not.
Meanwhile, Janaki Ammal, a social worker had moved the Madras High Court against the reality show alleging that it played with the emotions of innocent women and that it commercialized the institution of marriage.
As many as 16 young women were shortlisted from thousands of bride-to-be aspirants applied for entry to reality show, in which Arya will tie the knot with the winner.
Now there are 10 contestants vying with each other to grab a spot in the finale. Two Keralite women are also there in the race to be Arya’s bride.
However, the latest revelation by the actor has taken everyone by surprise.
