It was a traditional Maharashtrian wedding, which was solemnised in the presence of family and friends on Sunday morning in the coastal town of Alibaug.

The pre-wedding mehndi ceremony was held on Saturday followed by sangeet, which involves a night of singing, dancing and music. The pictures of the wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies were doing the rounds on the internet.
The 52-year-old fitness enthusiast had courted controversy over dating Ankita, 27, who was far too young for him. The torrent of trolls and criticisms, however, never deterred Soman from posting cosy pictures from their vacations abroad.
For Soman, who found no much sucess in films, marriage with Ankita comes after a series of affairs. His earlier marriage with Mylene Jampanoi, a French actress, had ended up in divorce in 2009.
Madhu Sapre, Shahana Goswami and Gul Panag were some other names that were linked with Soman in the past.
