The wedding materialised following a decade-long friendship and two years of courtship. The engagement was held on October 22.

The Catholic wedding at the church was held as Meghana’s mother Pramila Joshai is a Catholic. A traditional Hindu wedding will be held in Bengaluru Palace Ground on May 2.
Meghna Raj, who is based in Bengaluru, made her acting debut in Telugu film 'Bendu Apparao R.M.P' and her first film in Malayalam was the Vinayan flick 'Yakshiyum Njanum'. She has appeared in lead roles in several Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films.
Meghna shot to prominence in Malayalam film industry following the blockbuster film 'Beautiful' starring Anoop Menon and Jayasoorya. Her last film in Malayalam was Narain-starrer 'Hallelooya' released in 2015.
