Actor Karthi is gearing up for the biggest release in his career with the latest movie Kaashmora (Kashmora) which hit the screens on Friday. Kaashmora movie is all set to release on nearly 1700 screens worldwide on Diwali amid huge expectations.

From the posters and trailers, Kaashmora has managed to create a curiosity among movie buffs with its period characters. While Karthi’s ancient role is called Raj Nayak, Nayanthara is playing Ratna Mahadevi. The film also has Sri Divya as another female lead and comedian Vivek in an important role.

It's been said that the '3D Face scan' technology, first of its kind for south Indian movie, has been used in this film. Reportedly, Karthi's face has been 3D scanned for an important sequence which will be running 15 minutes.

Going by the early reports, Kaashmora is a multi-genre period film with elements of horror, comedy and action.
